Location: Silver Star Blvd & Steeles
Decor: Nice and cosy, it can get a bit chilly at their regular seating area but the VIP rooms is warmer. The VIP rooms also have karaoke but have a minimum charge you have to spend on dinner and drinks. For our room it was $800 to get an idea.
Food: I liked the food a lot. The lobster was delicious and very nicely presented. They had geoduck sashimi also quite fresh and plated well. The eel i wasn't too big of a fan. There are better places for that. I did not like their rice pyramid it was way too much sauce and made the rice a bit soggy.
Service: Service was okay, they were quick and prompt served everything nicely. Cleared the table for our cake and space to sing and relax. Was a good experience since i've never had a full dinner and karaoke at the same time. Definitely something to try with friends -

I have never been to a restaurant this awful before in my life. Before I dive into the review, let me tell you that it was NOT my idea to come here for dinner on a Friday night. My dad made the executive decision before I could Yelp a better restaurant in the area, but after tonight's experience, as a family, we are NEVER EVER EVER EVER returning here to eat.
These were the issues we had:
1) The parking situation is just messed up... where are the parking lines? There were cars parked facing left, right, and centre.
2) I walked into the restaurant with a guy who was so drunk that he was puking out at the entrance of the restaurant.
3) The steamed eel dish came undercooked so we had to send it back; there was blood gushing out of the piece I got... gross!
4) The fried lobster was super underwhelming, some pieces of the meat were no longer attached to the shell pieces AND the batter had waaaaay too much corn starch. There was no crispiness to the pieces, just a gooey mess.
5) Halfway through the meal, we smelled smoke... we thought it may be coming from the kitchen but nope, it was actually coming from people in the private room smoking up a storm. FYI, smoking indoor at a restaurant is ILLEGAL in Canada. Y'all should know better!
6) By 9:40pm, we noticed some guys stuttering in the tables behind us... apparently they got pretty drunk. In fact, one of them got up to yell at one of the waitresses... I have never been to a restaurant where people are drunk by 9:30pm. Don't people usually go to a bar to get drunk?
7) Literally, by 9:45pm, I have had enough of the crazy drunken people and all the smoke smell that I was ready to leave. As I walked out the front door, remember that guy who was puking earlier when I walked in? He was lying there snoring up a storm... dude, you should go home and sleep in your own bed and not the front door of a restaurant.
After I left, it made me wonder: how can anyone run a restaurant like this in Markham? This place is soooo messssseeeeddd uuuuppppp!!!
I was so repulsed by my whole experience that I told my family we are NEVER EVER EVER EVER in our lifetime returning to this restaurant, EVER. -

Not a really large place. But it's quite nice and clean.
Steamed Rice Roll With Beef
I extremely enjoyed the steamed rice rolls. They were super soft and smooth. Bascially just slid down your throat, that's how smooth it was. The beef was the steamed beefball style.
Deep Fried Turnip Puffs
Their pastries were also nicely made. It had several layers of flaky pastries outside and moist and flavourful filling inside.
Ribs of Veal with Honey Sauce
These were really tender and the sauce they used to marinated tasted like chinese beef jerky sauce. Quite good.
Steamed Spare Ribs & Taro with Black Bean Sauce
The steamed spare ribs they have there also has taro in it. It was tasty and interesting touch.
Steamed Pork Dumpling with Shrimp & Fish Roe
They were huge, moist, and flavourful. Very tasty and fresh.
We had Chinese Sausages with Rice but I didn't try any of it. :P -

Delicious and well priced food. Service is a hit or miss.
DECOR: 4/5
The restaurant is located along Steeles on the East side of Pacific Mall. There isn't anything else really notable in this plaza (?) area, and this restaurant stands alone. The exterior is easy enough to spot. The interior is surprisingly small for a seafood/lobster restaurant, compared to the others in Markham. Although the place looks nice, there are little faults such as cracks (with just transparent tape) over the lazy susan tables.
However, the washrooms were surprisingly clean for a chinese restaurant.
FOOD: 5/5
THE FOOD IS GREAT. Honestly didn't expect much but every single thing we ordered was delicious. Most surprising of all, they were all very reasonably priced. On average, I would say each dish is cheaper than it's equivalent at Congee Queen (which is obviously lower quality). We ordered 6 main dishes for a total of $99 after tax.
We didn't try any of their set meals but they did seem lower priced than the other lobster restaurants nearby.
SERVICE: 3/5
Probably the greatest miss of this restaurant. Our service when we walked in was terrible. The waiter kept asking how many people and I said six in Cantonese a few times (while also holding up six fingers) while being ignored. Eventually decided to say it in Mandarin and he immediately heard me.
The service eventually got better. The menu is in Chinese and English, and although the waiter (at the time) only spoke Mandarin, we could communicate enough through pointing or him trying to make sense of my Cantonese. However, I can't imagine how much worse my service would be if no one in our group spoke Chinese at all.
However, we got complimentary tong sui at the end so that was also nice.
I'd probably come back with my chinese family (because the food is delicious) but I'd be a little hesitant to come back again as the only chinese speaking person in my group. -

I have been told that this restaurant may require reservation for early dim sum and dinners since the place is not that big compared to many other Chinese restaurants, but the food here definitely of a solid standard.
I personally know staff there, so I got a table the moment I walked in and were told that the usual discount or cheaper price time is between Monday-Friday 9-11 am where S/M/L are all only $3.20! Even their SP items where only $6.50 and their chef's or house specials were $7.25 each. Reasonable.
The decor is elegant but not over the top. Portions are decent for this price.
The wraps for their shrimp dumplings and rice noodles were light, not sticky and sturdy enough that it does not break upon contact. There are about 4 shrimps in each dumplings or roll and they were all super springy!!
The dumpling soup with abalone and shrimp was pure and cleansing to the taste. Definitely a special feel good item that's meant for one person each.
I really like the fried taro cake! They were not the usual deep fried paste ones that super starchy, but three rectangular pieces of chopped taro boiled in water until cooked before being briefly fried on a pan. The result was that it was surprisingly soft yet crispy on the surface and there was a pure freshness of the taro without any excess starch/flour.
Nothing was too oily or doughy. We cleaned our plates and there was hardly any oil to be seen! I love restaurants that are seemingly health conscious!
Service was superb and I am pleased that they accept debit, so I would definitely recommend this place.
